Rhaûnos: the Fairy King

First Adventure
The Wizard of the Well

When the caravan decided to rest the party wander off into the woods where they found a Wizard standing by a well in the clearing. Drysi failed a spell roll and the wizard cast a fireball that scorched some of the party. Blows were exchanged and the wizard jumped into the well. After some debate the party followed. They landed in the middle of a maar next to a boat with an island with a hill-fort on the other side of the clear blue waters. Moira tried to move the boat but it would not budge so the party, finding that they could walk on the water crossed the lake towards the island. Halfway they encountered some Merrows. A battle ensued leaving the party, and Addiena in paticular, battered. They slept for a few hours under the unchanging blue sky in a cave only to be a wakened by a moon-moth that had devastating magical attacks. After several healing kisses, volleys, and Moira having to break magic binding the moon-moth was defeated and the party progressed to the hill-fort. After slipping through the gate and collecting some bandages at the bottom of the tower they met the Wizard at the top floor. They asked to leave and he laughed and said he would if they killed one of their own. A fight broke out with Moira landging a blow, Addiena destroying the mirror illusion, the wizard casting a fireball and Drysi’s magic missile delivering the death blow and transporting the party back to their own realm. Their they found the Gae Bulg and some herbs( Fireweed, Stone Crop, Red Elderberry, Swamp Laurel)next to the well.
